Verification & date stamping

RD’s publication date provides a verifiable date stamp to the disclosure that has proven legal precedent throughout the world. The RD Journal is published by the 12th of every month and the month of publication establishes a verifiable date that the invention or idea did indeed exist at that time. As the journal is lodged in libraries and patent offices worldwide every month it qualifies the content, ie a particular disclosure, as being available to the public at large. It is often sufficient just to quote the date of receipt of the relevant issue in a library of any country.
There are several instances where RD has been successfully cited in challenges to patents granted after a prior art disclosure in the journal. All disclosures submitted will be also be included in the RD database by the 12th of the month.
