Research Disclosure - The industry standard defensive publication service

Submitting a disclosure couldn't be easier; simply prepare your article and email it to us. We will then process it and email you a PDF copy for your final approval, prior to publication. Typically your disclosure will be online and searchable directly after we receive your confirmation.

Preparing a disclosure

We accept submissions in any of the following formats; Microsoft Word (doc), Adobe Acrobat (pdf), Rich Text Format (rtf) and Plain Text (txt). Our formatting guidelines are available here.

Submitting a disclosure

Disclosures should be emailed directly to publish@researchdisclosure.com or alternatively can be posted to either our European or US office. Either office are happy to deal with any queries you may have about the publishing process. Please include a copy of the publication form with your disclosure.

Disclosure processing

Our publishing system extracts all the searchable text from your disclosure and creates a fully rasterized PDF version to ensure that the text is immovable and that no changes can be made to the content. That PDF is then sent back to you for approval prior to publication.

Disclosure finalised

Once we have received your final approval your disclosure is ready for publication. You will be notified of the paper journal publication date and if you have requested immediate electronic publication your disclosure will be date stamped directly and made available for online searching.

Payment and publication confirmation

After the paper journal containing your disclosure has been published, a copy of the journal along with either an invoice or a credit card receipt will be posted to your billing address.
