Publication guidelines

  • Set both your text and illustration files sizes up to A4 or US letter
  • The type size should be at least 12 point
  • Start with a headline, ranged left in upper and lower case
  • Leave three blank lines, then start your text
  • End with 'Disclosed by...' company name and/or inventors etc, or Disclosed anonymously again arranged left in upper and lower case.
  • Do not number pages as they will be re-numbered for publication.
  • A margin of 1 inch, or 2.5cm, should be allowed on all four sides.

Illustrations should be supplied in greyscale and at a quality which is suitable for reproduction. If image files are not embedded in the main document they should be supplied as Jpeg or Tif files.
